Two women who research sound and architecture.
We glue, creak, cut, swear. We decompose obvious connections to draw attention to unvisible/inaudible. Below are our projects, which constitute a series of three interactive audio installations, which are audio and visual interpretations of the works of Etgar Keret and Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska. The collection will enlarge with time.
Listen, look & think
I'm a sound lover, thinker and constructor! I explore sound world from a scientific and artistic point of view. I check how much we can mess up our perception of world and ourselves by manipulating sounds. Currently stationed in Gothenburg Sweden.
When I don't work, I travel to the NORTH
Officially saying Justyna has obtained PhD in Medialogy at Aalborg University in Copenhagen. Before that she studied acoustics and cognitive science in Poznan, Poland. Right now, after a few years in Copenhagen, she works as a UX sound designer at Volvo Car Company and she is very happy.
An installation, which was proposed for the Exhibition at Interactive Story Telling Conference, is based on the poems of a great Polish writer, Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska. We refer to the topic of love. Give people an intimate space, where from the fragments of love soundscape they build their own esoteric love story. Their story depend on their interpretation of sounds and space in which the sounds are enclosed. The poems serve as guides.
